I thought i'd let all my fans know that i'll be changing the colour scheme of my blog! :D
New year calls for a new layout and I feel a bit more lively :D

'With or without you....'

I've never really understood the song 'With or without you' created by the famous band U2, until last night....
As usual, i couldn't drift into the daily stages of REM and just to make matters worse, i had a pounding headache due to excessive game play...
Suddenly, an episode of the famous sitcom 'Scrubs' came to mind. Carla was becoming obsessive with Turk's mole and started believing that it had a personality of it's own....Turk, being supportive, decided to have it surgically removed...
Carla then comes in contact with Bob Kelso, the chief of medicine. He explains in a negative tone, how he couldn't survive with the constant snoring his wife made while she was sleeping...However, as soon as she left to go on holiday, he couldn't bare to live without the sound of 'that ghastly woman'...
Carla, feeling comforted by this, runs to find Turk and cancels the surgery....she then kisses him on his mole and peace was restored.
Thus, the phrase, 'I can't live...with or without you' made sense to me....
I find that many messages of life come to us when we least expect them to....and the key is to absorb them, much like a sponge and not to forget them, as these moments are hard to come by...

Death To Linux and GRUB

I'm sorry i haven't been on recently....

Yesterday...

George and my friend Bircan (pronounced 'beercan') came to my place to hang out, have a couple of beers and install an OS called Linux.... :P

Anyways, We booted the live CD and i kinda liked the look of it, so we thought 'What-the-hell'...

MASSIVE MISTAKE

I mean, everything worked fine....it installed onto a spare hard drive, we could access windows and Linux and we were happy :)

We took out the hard drive and tried to boot Vista/Longhorn.....

'GRUB 'ERROR 21' :(

I felt depressed at this point......we tried again with the drive plugged in and the worked to our amazement. :D

However.....we faced a black screen and also had to keep the drive plugged in at all times. Without it, Windows will not boot and i will not be a happy bunny. :(

At this time, George had to go and so did Bircan (For the eighth time).

Later that night, I regretted installing Ubuntu and i told Georgie it was my fault....i was the one who pressed install and he shouldn't feel bad for something he didn't do. He had promised that he would visit mine again today and that he will try to fix my computer. I was glad he was there to help me. :)

He brought supergrub on CD to fix 'error 21', however it didn't work.

He also brought a Vista repair CD. However, this didn't work either.

We tried to fix it once more by putting the repair file onto CD again. It worked... :D

It seemed too fast.....like a quarter of a second...and we didn't think it'd work. But it had and i'm really thankful to George. Thank you if you're there, you saved half my heart! :D

Psychology exam - 23/06/2008

For those taking a GCSE exam this Monday, i bid thee good luck.
For those studying the boring aspects of Piaget and Freud in disorganised books made by Barbara Woods, i honestly feel empathy for you and it's not long to go until you're pulled out of this furry-filled, demented hell-hole.
Even though i go back to the wreck i call 'school', i need to know the facts. The only way I'm able to release the insanity inside my mind, is to tell stories to my (Bestest) friend Georgie. :D
These stories are beyond disturbed and they chill us to our very souls.
I cannot bear to revise in the compressing box i call a 'room', and when i just bare to do so, i shut it almost completely. A guy has his limits, and when this guy glances over at the name of 'Kohlberg', he shatters into a billion pieces, never to be found again.
After the exam on Monday, i reckon I'll boil the book and let my dog munch on it greedily.
I'm sorry, but F**k returning it back to school, I'm going to torture it, as it has done to me.
No more will the class of 14 look at Freud's name, without thinking of Genital castration, (Believe me, i was truly shocked upon finding this).
